RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OFA PLANNING & ZONING
PERSON FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA _
WHEREAS, there is a current opening on Planning & Zoning; and
WHEREAS, the City needs to comply with gender equality requirements; and

THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED, the City Council is appointing Matt Klein to the Planning & Zoning
Commission.
On this 251h day of September 2013 at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Council person —
Phillips introduced RESOLUTION 2013-181 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A
PLANNING &ZONING PERSON FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The
motion was seconded by Council person Upton.
AYES: Phillips, Upton, Bartels
NAYS: Kahler
ABSENT: Ryan
WHEREUPON, with three votes for approval, Mayor Berner declared that Resolution 2013-181 A
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING & ZONING PERSON,FOR THE CITY
OF TIFFIN, IOWA be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
