SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS —
MEETING OF OCTOBER 8, 2014
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their meeting of October 8, 2014.
BACKGROUND:
On October 8, 2014, the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the October 8, 2014 meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner - Clift, Nimri, Chairman Redmond, Vice -Chairman
Stratis
Absent: Commissioner - None
Excused: Commissioner - Haddad
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Commission approved the minutes of their September 24, 2014 meeting.

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held seven hearings in person and dismissed all seven citations.
The Commission held one hearing by written declaration and dismissed the
citation.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2014-15 City Budget.
