AUTHORIZING SALE OF PROPERTY - 3 SHAROT STREET
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in possession of property located at 3 Sharot Street, also
known as Block 154, Lot 5; and
WHEREAS, the property serves no valid Borough purposes; and
atWHEREAS'a public auction;pUrsuant to NJ S.A. 40A:12-13 the Borough is desirous of selling said property
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council hereby authorizes the
Purchasing Agent to advertise for the sale of the aforementioned property to the highest pub ic
bidder; and
E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a condmon of sale is that the successful bidder demolish
all structures wittfin thirty (30) days of transfer of title. Should the successful bidder not demolish
all structures within thirty (30) days, the Borough Demolition Officer shall demo sh and all costs
shall constitute a lien on said property
Adopted this 18th day of July 1996 and
certified as a true copy of the original
on July 19, 1996.
