A RESOLUTION APOPROVING THE COUNTER OFFER FROM GRACE UNITED
METHODIST CHURCH FOR THE RELOCATION OF THEIR PARKING LOT AND
NECESSARY UPDATES DUE TO THE IRELAND AVENUE PROJECT
Whereas, The City recognizes that Grace United Methodist Church will need to
demolish one home located on their property and create an ADA compliant entrance on
the North side of the church and;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the counter offer from Grace United Methodist Church for the relocation of their parking
lot and the other necessary updates due to the Ireland Avenue Project subject to the
attorney; mayor, and Administrator/Clerk approval of the contract.
On the 30th day of October, at a special meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-193, A RESOLUTION
APOPROVING THE COUNTER OFFER FROM GRACE UNITED METHODIST
CHURCH FOR THE RELOCATION OF THEIR PARKING LOT AND NECESSARY
UPDATES DUE TO THE IRELAND AVENUE PROJECT and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels
Nays: Phillips, Upton
Absent: none.
Whereupon three Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-193, A RESOLUTION APOPROVING THE
COUNTER OFFER FROM GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FOR THE
RELOCATION OF THEIR PARKING LOT AND NECESSARY UPDATES DUE TO
THE IRELAND AVENUE PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 30th day of October, 2013.
