ORDINANCE NO. 15— A
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
DISCONTINUING A STORMWATER ,EASEMENT OVER A PORTION OF PROPERTY
ADDRESSED AS 3719 GRAYSTONE DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
WHEREAS, it has been shown to the Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that City Staff
have recommended the City Council to vacate a stormwater easement; and
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or the
citizens of the City to discontinue the stormwater easement for public use as
described in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby declares it necessary,
reasonable and proper to discontinue as a stormwater easement the area ,described as a
portion of property addressed as 3719 Graystone Drive in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and
forever vacate the following described stormwater easement in said City:
A stormwater easement on Tract 38A of the Trail of Kauffman Hills, Section 3, in
the City of Jefferson City, Cole County Missouri; recorded in Book B, Page 355 at
the Cole County Recorder's office, Cole County, Missouri, more particularly
described in Exhibit A.
Section 2. The statutory right of reversion in the owners of the abutting property is
hereby confirmed, as is provided by the laws of the State of Missouri, and the Mayor and the
Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute all necessary instruments required to confirm
the reversionary rights of the owners of property abutting on the area vacated, as described in
Section 1 of this ordinance, in the right of way vacated.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its
passage.

Jefferson City; Cole County Missouri; recorded in Book B, page 355 at the Cole .County Recorder's
office., Cole County, Missouri, more particularly described:as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner-of said Tract 38A; thence North 67 degrees 5'1 minutes 35
seconds East (N67°5.1'35"E), 9.93 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of this Stormwater Drainage
Easement Description; thence North 19 degrees 02 minutes 47 seconds West-(N19'02'47"W), 15.00
feet on the westerly line of said stormwater drainage.easement;;thence.North.70 degrees 57 minutes
13 seconds East.(N70057'1 WE), 164.74 feet on the northerly line of said stormwater drainage
easement, thence South 36 degrees.47 minutes.27 seconds East:(S369472.7"E)', 1.5.75 feet on the
easterly line of said stormwater drainage easement; thence South 70 degrees 57 minutes 13
seconds West (S70°57'1.3"W), 169:54 feet-on the southerly line of said stormwater drainage
easement and the POINT OF BEGINNING of this description.
Containing 2,507.60 square feet (less than 0.06 acres), more or less, in a trapezoidal shape.
