HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2013-200RESOLUTION NO. 2013-200 A RESOLUTION APPROVING TO ASSIST THE WILLOW RIDGE DEVELOPMENT 7 FINANCIALLY WITH 20% OF THE COST OF INSTALLATION OF TURN LANES Whereas, The City recognizes that the Willow Ridge development will need turn -lanes as a requirement per the Iowa DOT and there will be additional wear and tear on the roads because it will be a collector street leading to Highway 6 and; Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the additional traffic due to developments more North and West of the Willow Ridge development warrants some financial assistance from the City of Tiffin due to this fact; Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve approving to assist the Willow Ridge Development financially with 20% of the cost of installation of turn lanes on Highway 6 for the Willow Ridge development. On the 13th day of November, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2013-200, A RESOLUTION APPROVING TO ASSIST THE WILLOW RIDGE DEVELOPMENT FINANCIALLY WITH 20% OF THE COST OF INSTALLATION OF TURN LANES and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler Nays: none Absent: Phillips Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the Resolution No. 2013-200, A RESOLUTION APPROVING TO ASSIST THE WILLOW RIDGE DEVELOPMENT FINANCIALLY WITH 20% OF THE COST OF INSTALLATION OF TURN LANES to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
