21st Annual Egg Hunt at Ida Lee Park Will Be On Saturday,
March 23, 2013
Leesburg, VA (February 28, 2013) – Hop on over
and join the Town of Leesburg Parks and
Recreation Department for the 21st Annual Egg
Hunt on Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 12pm
until 4pm at Ida Lee Park!
This year, the Easter Bunny will be hiding over
16,000 eggs filled with candy and special prizes
throughout Ida Lee Park for children ages one
through seven. The hunts will be held by age
group: one year olds, two year olds, three year
olds, four year olds, five year olds, and six to
seven year olds. One parent will be allowed to
assist children aged two and under. All other age
groups will hunt without parents. Each hunt will
have one Grand Prize egg and the lucky hunter
will receive a basket full of candy, prizes, and
toys.
In addition to all the egg hunt options, there will
be UNLIMITED rides on a jumbo slide, jump climb
& slide, obstacle courses, face painting, and other
amusements. Food vendors will be on site, plus
families are invited to bring lunches to enjoy a
picnic at their favorite spot in the park. Families should also remember their cameras for great
photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny!
Tickets are $10 per child in advance and $15 at the gate. The price of admission includes all
attractions except food vendors. Parents pay no admission fee and children over the age of
seven (who are not hunting) will be admitted free. Tickets can be purchased in advance by
stopping in or calling Ida Lee Park Recreation Center or online at www.idalee.org.

Pre‐purchasing tickets is strongly recommended in order accelerate access through the event
gate. Parking is available in the front fields located off North King Street (Business Route 15).
The event will be held rain or shine.
