HomeMy Public PortalAbout23-09-12 Order: Grant of Easements - 85 Walunt Street BP3-BOS4 250 Arsenal PlaceWatertown City Council Administration Building 149 Main Street Watertown, MA 02472 Phone: 617-972-6470 ORDER# GC' 0-2023- Co An Order Relative to a Grant of Easements Relative to Property at 85 Walnut Street from BP3-BOS4 250 Arsenal Place LLC to the City of Watertown and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Grant of Easements on Behalf of the City WHEREAS, BP3-BOS4 250 Arsenal Place LLC is developing property located at 85 Walnut Street; and WHEREAS, due to the location of the improvements to be constructed at the property, BP3-BOS4 250 Arsenal Place LLC needs to relocate an existing sewer line, and will grant the City another easement for this purpose, on the southern boundary of its property; and WHEREAS, in connection with its development, BP3-BOS4 250 Arsenal Place LLC has agreed to grant pedestrian, bicycle and open space easements to the City, for use by the public, such amenities to be constructed and maintained by the developer. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED: That the City Council agrees, in connection with the development of 85 Walnut Street by BP3-BOS4 250 Arsenal Place LLC, to accept an easement for a sewer line, and pedestrian, bicycle and open space easements, for use by the public. AND FURTHER, that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a Grant of Easements on behalf of the City.
