US OFFICE OF U 1 HEALTH DEPARTMENT ~ tY'i cr, 11.1 O .--i BREWSTER BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING TUESDAY, JANUARY 5, 2010, 7:OOPM TOWN HALL, ROOM A Present: Joanne Hughes, Chairman, Dan Brightman, Vice Chairman, James Reynolds, Keith Johnson, Andrew Petty, Nancy Ellis Ice, Health Director and Tammi Mason, Senior Department Assistant. 1. J.C. Ellis-variance request for Paul & Joanne Hush-200 Breakwater Road JE stated that the home is for sale and the leaching area is in failure. The following variance is being requested: 1. 10' from proposed SAS to foundation wall There will be a flow barrier within 20 feet. Motion: DB-grant variance with Environmentally Sensitive Area restrictions applying. AP seconded. 5 yes. 2. Neil Hurst-failure to replace oil tank at 348 Freeman's Way The Board agreed to have a letter sent that states he will be fined starting the day after the next meeting if he does not replace the tank or show up to the next meeting. 3. Dr. Louise Morgan-failure to apply for Animal Permit The Board agreed to send a certified letter that states that fines will start if she does not show up for the next meeting. 4. Susan Talbot-appeal of Health Directors decision on 1751 Main Street Ms. Talbot was not present but sent a letter asking that the Board reconsider the Health Directors room count so that she could build an addition. Motion: DB-deny request for addition. AP seconded. 5 yes. 5. Barbara Hannon-22 Gull's Way-failure to repair septic system Motion: AP-have NI write a letter to Ms. Hannon stating that the driveway should be moved or the tank should be changed to H2O. Golf Course Management Plan for CC National Golf Course JH spoke about the DCPC, CC Bay & Nantucket Sound. NI told the Board that they could not meet on January 19~ due to election day. The next meeting will be on February 2, 2010. If any emergencies come up the Board can schedule an emergency meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:30 ~' J ~~ / ~ ,~~
