BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING
TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 2010 AT 7:OOPM

Present: Joanne Hughes, Chairman, Dan Brightman, Vice Chairman, James Reynolds, Keith Johnson, Andrew Petty, Nancy
Ellis Ice, Health Director and Tammi Mason, Senior Department Assistant.
1. Dan Brightman-food permit application
DB excused himself from this hearing as he was the applicant. DB is applying for a Retail Food permit. Will be selling
fruits & v vegetables, no cooking at this time.
Motion: AP-approve application for Retail Food permit pending a final inspection. JR seconded. 4 yes.
2. Diana Delano-98 Ebenezer-failure to upgrade septic system
Diana Delano stated that she is currently trying to locate her husband as he is part owner of the home and shares the
responsibility of upgrading the septic system. She also stated that she will apply to the County Loan Program tomorrow.
The Board told her that she needed to start the upgrade process immediately.
Discuss Health Director's FY10 Objectives
The Board spoke about the changes to the Outdoor Cafe Regulations.
Motion: DB-accept the changes to the Outdoor Cafe Regulations. AP seconded. 5 yes.
4. Discuss Planning Board application for 1439 Main Street
NI told the Board that at the DPRC meeting she told the owner of the property that the septic system needed to be
inspected.
5. Discuss Planning Board application for 125 Underpass Road
NI told the Board that the septic system is not adequate for what is being proposed.

The Board spoke about groundwater sampling and the Daniels/Antinerelli site.
The Board decided to change the May meetings to the 11th and the 25th due to Town Meeting and elections.
JH spoke about dog waste at the Drummer Boy Park.
