W~EREAS, S.ection 8 of the Open Public Meetings Act.~ Chapter .23.1
P.L. 1975, permits the exclusion of the public from a meeting in certain
circtm~s tances; and
W~IEAS, this public body is of the opinion that such circt~nstances
presently exist;
NOW, light,ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by tbe Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as
follows:
1. 'ibc public shall be excluded from attending, discussing or
participating in the hereinafter specified subject matters.
2. 'Ihe ge.eral nature of the subject ,rotter to be discussed is as
follows:
Personnel Ma~ters and Litigation
3. It is anticipated at this time that the above stated subject
matter will be made public
___upon the conclusion of the ma~__te~s.
4. 'Ibis resolutlo~ shall take effect l~nedlately.
