Leesburg Town Offices Closed on Wednesday, March 6, 2013
Leesburg, VA (March 6, 2013 | 6:00 a.m.) – The Town of Leesburg's government offices will be
closed on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, due to inclement weather. All public meetings
scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2013 are cancelled.
The current status of other Town facilities is as follows:
• The Thomas Balch Library will be closed on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
• Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and Tennis Bubble will be open until at least 5pm, and
will probably remain open regular hours. Staff will make hourly evaluations about
staying open. All classes on Wednesday are cancelled. For up-to-date information
about facility status, please call 703-777-1368.
• Runway 17/35 at the Leesburg Executive Airport is currently open, but there will be
intermittent closures for snow removal throughout the day.
Virginia Regional Transit cancelled all bus service in Leesburg and Loudoun County for
Wednesday, March 6. Fixed route service will resume at 10am on Thursday, March 7.
