The Brewster Planning Board will hold a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, November 10, 2010 beginning at
7:00 pm in the Brewster Town office Building at 2198 Main Street, Brewster, MA. The following will be heard.
#2010=23 Applicant: Cape and Vineyard Electric Company (CVEC) Owner: Town of Brewster
Property is.located on Commerce Park Road and shown on Assessors' Map 46; Parce141 in the
Industrial (I) zoning district and the Wind Energy Turbine (WET) overlay district. The applicant is
seeking a special permit to install two (2) large scale (utility scale) wind energy turbines pursuant to
Section 179-40.2 G (Large-Scale Wind Energy Turbine (LWET) of the zoning by-laws and MA General
Laws Chapter 40A Section 9. The applicant is also seeking a Corridor Overlay Protection District
special permit pursuant to Section 179-66 B (Use Regulations, Special permit uses). The proposed
turbines will each be three-bladed, rotor mounted atop a monopole tower with a maximum height of 410
feet to the tip of the blade.
The Application and plans are available to view in the Planning Board and/or Town Clerk's office.
