Bella Ballerina Opens New Children’s Dance Studio in Leesburg
Ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday, March 17, 2013
Leesburg, VA (March 13, 2013) – Town of Leesburg officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony
for Bella Ballerina, a new children’s dance studio, at 1:00pm on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Bella
Ballerina is located at 1053 Edwards Ferry Road NE, in the Battlefield Shopping Center in
Leesburg. Mayor Kristen Umstattd will officiate.
“Tiny toes are our passion! Bella Ballerina classes offer a fun and educational experience like no
other,” explained owner Natalie Perkins. “Classes are structured around storybook themes,
allowing our ballerinas the freedom to explore dance through imagination, movement and fun!
From our littlest ballerinas to our big girls, each class is age appropriate, light and fun. Children
are awestruck when they step into our space ‐ it’s a child’s dream come true!”
The new Leesburg studio is Bella Ballerina’s second Loudoun County location. Bella Ballerina
offers classes to students ranging from 18 months to 10 years old. In addition, they offer
combination classes to expose children to a variety of dance styles. The studio offers an open
concept environment where parents can watch every moment of their child's development and
learning while they cheer them on! Parent convenience and flexibility is a top priority, including
location, online scheduling apps, and all inclusive packages.
Bella Ballerina strives to have a positive impact on the local community, through free
community events and the Bella Ballerina Scholarship Foundation. Bella Ballerina will be
heading up a charity to give away $10k in birthday parties to Loudoun County families who are
not able to give their children birthday parties, for whatever reason.
