ACCEPTING $950,000.00 BALANCED HOUSING FUNDS ON BEHALF
OF RAIA AND/OR SUCCESSORS FOR PROJECT AT 253
ROMANOWSKISTREET (CARDINAL COMMONS)
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret desires to apply for and obtain a grant from
the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs during FY 1996 for $950,000.00
to carry out a program to rehabilitate 253 Romanowski Street (Cardinal Commons)
into 28 low income rental units;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret does hereby
authorize the application for and the execution of a contract for the receipt of such
a contract, authorize the expenditures of such funds pursuant to the terms of said
contract between the Borough of Carteret and the New Jersey Department of
Community Affairs.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the prsons whose names, titles and signatures
appear below are authoirzed to sign the application, the contract and any other
documents necessary in connection therewith:
