A RESOLUTION -AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR ANDCITYADMINISTRATOR/CLERK
TO PREPARE A 28E PROPOSAL AGREEMENT WITH THE SCHOOL, FOR A
SIDEWALK AND PROPERTY ACQUSITION
Whereas, The City recognizes that in an"effort°to get agreement between the CCA
School Board and the City of Tiffin for the footage needed from the School to create a
public street access and the.25% financial.assistance from the City towards the
completion of a required sidewalk along Highway'6 Right -of -Way from the West
property line to the New Ireland -Avenue Extension. Costs (survey, legal) to prepare
deed will be incurred by the City. Additionally, approve the survey,& staking from the
Engineer and;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin; Iowa to approve
authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to prepare a 28E proposal
agreement with the,school for a sidewalk and property acquisition.
�..On the 23rd day of October, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-191, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO PREPARE A
28E PROPOSAL AGREEMENTWITH THE SCHOOL FOR A SIDEWALK AND.
PROPERTY ACQUSITION arid. made a motion Jor approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: Phillips
Absent: none.
Whereupon four Council members were present acid voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-191, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO PREPARE A 28E PROPOSAL
AGREEMENT WITH THE SCHOOL FOR A SIDEWALK AND PROPERTY
ACQUSITION-toy be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
si=gnature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 23rd day of October, 2013.
