Home My Public Portal About023-2002 - General Ordinance - Amends Chapter 154 of the City Code ORDINANCE NO- 23 - 2002 A GENERAL ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 154 OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND CODE REGARDING ZONING MAPS WHEREAS, Chapter 154 of Richmond Code regulates zoning within the City; and WHEREAS, Chapter 154 of Richmond Code also incorporates by reference certain Zoning Maps as drawn June 3, 1968, together with all amendments thereto; and WHEREAS, it is the intent of this ordinance to place and file said Zoning Maps in electronic format and to provide for future update to those electronic maps. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond as follows: 1.) Section 154.13.112 of Richmond Code shall be amended to read as follows: 154.13 DEFINITIONS 154.13.112 “ZONING MAP” – The Zoning Map or Maps of the City of Richmond, Indiana dated the first day of March 2002 together with all amendments subsequently adopted. Said Zoning Map or Maps shall be maintained and filed in an electronic format. 2.) The following shall be added as new sections of Richmond Code: 154.62 DISTRICT CHANGES AND REGULATIONS AMENDMENTS 154.62.01.02 (f) The Information Technology/Global Information Systems Coordinator or their designated representative shall update the Zoning Map to reflect changes made by each Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Common Council of Richmond, Indiana, pursuant to Richmond Code 154.62.01.03(a), (b) or (c). 154.62.01.03 (g) The Zoning Map, as updated by the Information Technology/Global Information Systems Coordinator, is hereby incorporated by reference into Richmond Code 154.62.01.03 (h) The Zoning Map shall be kept available for public review at the office of the City Engineer of the City of Richmond Passed and adopted this 15th day of April, 2002, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana. s/s Bruce Wissel, President (Bruce Wissel) Attest: s/s Norma Schroeder, City Clerk (Norma Schroeder) PRESENTED to the Mayor of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this 16th day of April, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. s/s Norma Schroeder, City Clerk (Norma Schroeder) APPROVED by me, Shelley D.
