AFFIRMING SUSPENSION - DEPUTY CHIEF DENNIS NAGY
WHEREAS, on August 9, 1996, disciplinary charges were filed against Deputy
Chief Dennis Nagy, a member of the Police Department, pursuant to a violation of
various rules and regulations of the Carteret Police Department as enumerated in
Section A345-11 et seq. of the Code of the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, those charges have resulted in the suspension without pay due to the
nature of those charges;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough Council affirms the
suspension of Deputy ChiefNagy pending a hearing which may result in his removal
before the appropriate authority.
Adopted this 15th day of August, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the
original on August 16, 1996.
