AN ORDINANCE to fix the compensation of the Director of
Finance, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Effective September 1, 1954, the salary
of the Director of Finance shall be $8,500.00 per annum, payable
in equal semi-monthly installments.
Section Two. The inability of the District to obtain
the services of a full time Director of Finance until the 1st day
of September, and the inability to determine the compensation for
such position until a satisfactory Director of Finance was found
creates an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective on the 1st day of
September, 1954.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 26, 1954
