AN ORDINANCE to establish a subdistrict in the River
Des Peres Watershed, to be known as Subdistrict Number Two of the
River Des Peres Watershed of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District (Vinita Park area).
WHEREAS, residents of the District have filed with the
Board a petition seeking the establishment of a subdistrict, and
it appears to the Board that the establishment of such a
subdistrict is necessary in order to furnish proper and adequate
sewer service and to protect the public health, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby established a subdistrict
of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to be known as
Subdistrict Number Two of the River Des Peres Watershed of the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict Number Two
of the River Des Peres Watershed shall be as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northeast line of the
abandoned right of way of the Creve Coeur Line of St.
Louis Public Service Company, 50 feet wide, and the
eastward prolongation of the north line of Lot 15,
Block 10, of Vinita Park, a real estate subdivision;
thence westwardly along said eastward prolongation of

the north line of said lot to a point in the southwest
line of said right of way (which point is also the
northeast corner of said Lot 15); thence continuing
westwardly along the north line of Lots 15, 16, 17, 18,
19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31
of Block 10 of Vinita Park, to the northwestern corner
of said Lot 31, which corner lies in the east line of
North and South Road, a public street 50 feet wide;
thence continuing westwardly along the westward
prolongation of the north line of said Lot 31 to the
centerline of North and South Road; thence southwardly
along the centerline of North and South Road to the
centerline of Page Avenue, a public street, 80 feet
wide; thence continuing southwardly along the
centerline of said North and South Road, which is 40
feet wide south of Page Avenue. to its intersection
with the westward prolongation of the south line of Lot
1 of Fairham's Subdivision, a real estate subdivision
lying partly in the City of Vinita Park and partly in
the City of University City; thence continuing
westwardly along the westward prolongation of the south
line of said Lot 1 of Fairham's Subdivision, a distance
of approximately 170 feet to a point 150 feet west of
the west line of North and South Road (measured at
right angles thereto); thence southwardly along a line

150 feet westwardly from and parallel with the west
line of North and South Road, a distance of
approximately 600 feet, to the centerline of the right
of way of the St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railway;
thence westwardly along the centerline of said railway
right of way to a point 150 feet eastwardly of the east
line of Walton Road, a public street 40 feet wide
(measured at right angles thereto), thence continuing
westwardly along the centerline of said railway right
of way to a point 125 feet west of the west line of
said Walton Road; thence in a northwestwardly direction
along a straight line a distance of approximately 600
feet to the point of intersection of the centerline of
Page Avenue, a public street, 60 feet wide, with the
centerline of the right of way of said railway (this
last mentioned right of way being on a different line
of said railway than the one previously mentioned);
thence westwardly along the centerline of Page Avenue,
a distance of approximately 600 feet to a point; thence
in a northwestwardly direction, generally following the
watershed line, a distance of approximately 1,000 feet
to a point 400 feet distance southwardly from (measured
at right angles to) the westward prolongation of the
south line of Lot 29 of Lake Sherwood, a private sub-
division in the City of Overland, which point is also

125 feet westwardly from the southward prolongation of
the west line of said Lot 29 (measured at right angles
thereto); thence northwardly along a straight line 125
feet westwardly from and parallel with the southward
prolongation of said west line of said Lot 29 and
continuing along a line 125 feet westwardly from and
parallel with said west line of said Lot 29, a distance
of approximately 760 feet to a point; thence
northwestwardly along a straight line a distance of
approximately 240 feet to a point on the centerline of
Brown Road, a public street, 60 feet wide, said point
being 100 feet northeast of the eastward prolongation
of the centerline of Osage Lane, a public street, 50
feet wide (measured along the centerline of Brown
Road); thence northeastwardly along the centerline of
Brown Road to its intersection with the centerline of
Lackland Road, a public street, 60 feet wide; thence
eastwardly along the centerline of Lackland Road to its
intersection with the northern line of the abandoned
right-of-way of the Creve Coeur Line of St. Louis
Public Service Company; thence eastwardly, southeast-
wardly and southwardly along the northern, northeastern
and eastern lines, respectively, of said abandoned
right-of-way, to the point of beginning.
