HomeMy Public PortalAbout00018REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 26 O R D I N A N C E NO. 18 AN ORDINANCE to establish a subdistrict in the Maline Creek Watershed,to be known as Subdistrict Number One of the Maline Creek Watershed (area of Bellefontaine Neighbors and Riverview Gardens) of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. WHEREAS, residents of the District have filed with the Board a petition seeking the establishment of a subdistrict, and it appears to the Board that the establishment of such a subdistrict is necessary in order to furnish proper and adequate sewer service and to protect the public health, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. There is hereby established a subdistrict of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to be known as Subdistrict Number One of the Maline Creek Watershed of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict Number One of the Maline Creek Watershed shall be as follows: Beginning at a point said point being the intersection of the South line of St. Cyr Road and the East City Limits Line of Bellefontaine Neighbors, thence West along the south line of St. Cyr Road to the East line of Bellefontaine Road to the South Right-of-Way Line of St. Louis Belt & Terminal Railroad, thence Eastwardly along said Right of-Way line to 2 the West Right-of-Way line of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad, thence across the Right-of-Way of Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad to the east line of said railroad, thence North along said east line of said railroad to the south line of the German Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of U.A.C. Cemetery (Bethlehem Cemetery) thence east along the south line of said cemetery to the southeast corner of said cemetery, thence north along the east line of said cemetery to the northeast corner of said cemetery, thence west along the north line of said cemetery to the east line of Bellefontaine Road, thence north along the east line of Bellefontaine Road to the south line of Chambers Road, thence east 200 feet to a point on a line 200 feet east of the east line of Bellefontaine Road, thence north 1160 feet and parallel to the east line of Bellefontaine Road to a point 200 feet east of the east line of Bellefontaine Road, thence west 90 degrees, 220 feet to a point 20 feet west of the east line of Bellefontaine Road, thence north along a line 20 feet west and parallel to the east line of Bellefontaine Road to a point, said point being the westerly prolongation of the north line of Lot 32 of Coburg Lands, thence east along said prolongation to northeasterly corner of said Lot 32, thence southeastwardly along the northerly line of Lot 32 and Lot 10 of Coburg Lands and its prolongation to the southeasterly right-of-way line of the 3 Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad, thence northeastwardly along said right-of-way line to the southwesterly corner of Lot 1 of North Coburg thence along the southeasterly line of said Lot 1 to a point 200 feet northwesterly from the northwesterly line of Toelle Road, thence across said Lot 1 and parallel to the westerly line of Toelle Road to the Northeasterly line of said Lot 1, thence southeastwardly along the northeasterly line of said Lot 1 and its prolongation to the southeasterly line of Toelle Road, thence southwestwardly along the southeasterly line of Toelle Road, to the northwesterly corner of Lot G of North Coburg, thence southeastwardly along the northeasterly line of said Lot G to northwest corner of Lot F of North Coburg, thence east along the north line of said Lot F to the northeast corner of Lot F, thence southwardly along the eastwardly line of Lot F of North Coburg and Lots 19, 20, 21, and 22 of Coburg Lands to the southeast corner of said Lot 22, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of Lots 21 and 22 to the northwest corner of Lot 22 of Dulle's 1st Add'n. to Riverview Gardens, thence southwardly along the westerly line of said Dulle's 1st Add'n. to Riverview Gardens to the intersection with the northerly line of Chambers Road, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of Chambers Road to a point, said point being the northerly prolongation of the easterly line of Lot 178 of Riverview Gardens, thence southwardly along said prolongation 4 and easterly line of Lot 178 to the northwesterly corner of Lot 151 of Riverview Gardens, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of said Lot 151 a distance of 60' to a point, thence southwardly across Lot 151 and 152 of Riverview Gardens to a point in the northerly line of Thrift Avenue, said point being 60' east of the southwest corner of Lot 152, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of Thrift Avenue to a point 90' west of the southeast corner of said Lot 152, thence southwardly to a point in the southerly line of Thrift Avenue 100' west of the northeast corner of Lot 153 of Riverview Gardens, thence across said Lot 153 to a point in the southerly line of said Lot 153, 100' westerly of the west line of Diamond Drive, thence westwardly along the southerly line of said Lot 153 to the northwest corner of Lot 154 of said subdivision, thence southwardly along the westerly line of said Lot 154 to the northwest corner of Lot 155 of said subdivision, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of said Lot 155 to a point 60' westwardly of the westerly line of Diamond Drive, thence southwardly to a point in the southerly line of Northridge Drive, said point being 60' westwardly from the westerly line of Diamond Drive, thence westwardly along the southerly line of Northridge Drive to the northeast corner of Lot 199 of Riverview Gardens, thence southwardly along the easterly line of Lots 199, 222, 221, 220 and 219 of Riverview Gardens to the northwest corner of 5 Lot 167 of said subdivision, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of said Lot 167 to a point 100' westwardly from the westerly line of Diamond Drive, thence southwardly to a point in the southerly line of Scenic Drive 100' westerly of the westerly line of Diamond Drive, thence westwardly along the southerly line of Scenic Drive to the northeast corner of Lot 342 of Riverview Gardens, thence southwardly along the easterly line of Lot 342 and 361 to the northwest corner of Lot 171 of said subdivision, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of said Lot 171, 100' to a point, thence southwardly to a point in the northerly line of Bluff Drive, 100' east of the southwest corner of said Lot 171, thence across Bluff Drive to a point in the southerly line of Bluff Drive 90' west of the westerly line of Diamond Drive, thence southwardly 85' to a point in the northerly line of Lot 173 of Riverview Gardens 90' west of the westerly line of Diamond Drive, thence westwardly along the northerly line of Lot 173 to the northwest corner of said Lot 173, thence southwardly along the westerly line of Lot 173 and 174 to the northwest corner of Lot 175, thence eastwardly along the northerly line of said Lot 173, 110' to a point, thence southwardly to a point in the northerly line of Adrian Drive 90' west of the westerly line of Diamond Drive, thence across Adrian Drive to a point in the southerly said Lot 4 and its prolongation to a point in the northwesterly line of Hillside Avenue, thence northeastwardly along the northwesterly line of Hillside Avenue to the northeasterly corner of Lot 12 of Block 4 of Burke's Subdivision of Prospect Hill, thence westwardly along the northerly line of Lots 12 to 20 inclusive in Block 4 of said subdivision to the easterly line of Lilac Avenue, thence southwardly along the easterly line of Lilac Avenue to the easterly prolongation of the northern line of Lots 24 to 42 inclusive in Block 6 of said subdivision, thence westwardly along the northerly line of Lots 24 to 44 inclusive and its prolongation in Block 6 of Burke's Subdivision of Prospect Hill to the easterly line of the Chicago, Burlington and 7 Quincy Railroad, thence southwardly along the easterly line of said railroad to a point 125 feet north of the northerly line of St. Cyr Road, thence westwardly 625 feet and parallel to the northerly line of St. Cyr Road to a point which is 125 feet north of said line, thence 90 degrees and southwardly to the southerly line of St. Cyr Road which is the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 29, 1954.
