AN ORDINANCE to establish a subdistrict in the River
Des Peres Watershed, to be known as Subdistrict Number Three of
the River Des Peres Watershed of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District (South Webster area).
WHEREAS, residents of the District have filed with the
Board a petition seeking the establishment of a subdistrict, and
it appeals to the Board that the establishment of such a
subdistrict is necessary in order to furnish proper and adequate
sewer service and to protect the public health, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby established a subdistrict
of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to be known as
Subdistrict Number Three of the River Des Peres Watershed of the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Two. The boundaries of subdistrict Number
Three of the River Des Peres Watershed shall be as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of
U. S. Highway 66 with the projection Southwardly of the West
Line of Cheshire Plat 2 (a subdivision in St. Louis County,
Missouri) thence Northwardly along the projection Southwardly
of the West line of Cheshire Plat 2, and along the West line
of Cheshire Plat 2 to the southwest corner of Lot 5, Block 8
of Cheshire Plat 2, thence eastwardly along the south line of
said Lot 5 to the west line of Cheshire Lane, thence
northwardly along the west line of Cheshire Lane to its
intersection with the prolongation westwardly of the south
line of Lot 15, Block 3 of Cheshire Plat 2, thence eastwardly
along the south line of said Lot 15 and its prolongation
westwardly; crossing Cheshire Lane, to the southeast corner
of said Lot 15, thence northwardly along the east line of
said Lot 15 and its prolongation northwardly to the north
line of Larkhill Court, thence eastwardly along said north
line of Larkhill Court to the southeast corner of Lot 13,
Block 4 of Cheshire Plat 2, thence northwardly along the east
line of said Lot 13 to the northeast corner of said Lot 13,
thence northeastwardly along the southeast lines of Lots 16,
17 and 18, Block 4 of Cheshire Plat 2 to the southeast corner
of said Lot 18, thence northwestwardly along the eastern line
of said Lot 18 and its prolongation northwestwardly to the
north line of Hampshire Court, thence northeastwardly along
said north line of Hampshire Court to its intersection with
the west line of Eastbrook Lane, said point being also the
southeast corner of Lot 14, Block 6 of Cheshire Plat 2,
thence northwardly along the west line of Eastbrook Lane to
its intersection with the prolongation southwestwardly of the
northwest line of Lot 8, Block 5 of Cheshire Plat 2, thence
northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Lot and its
prolongation southwestwardly, crossing Eastbrook Lane, to the
northeast corner of said Lot 8, thence northwestwardly along
the west line of Lot 7, Block 5 of Cheshire Plat 2 to the
northwest corner of said Lot 7, thence eastwardly along the
north line of Cheshire Plat 2 to the west line of Edgar Road,
thence northwardly along the west line of said Edgar Road to
its intersection with the prolongation westwardly of the
south line of Yorkshire Plat No. 1 (a subdivision in St.
Louis County, Missouri), thence eastwardly along said south
line of Yorkshire Plat No. 1 and its extension westwardly,
crossing Edgar Road, to the west line of Old Westbury (A
subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri), thence
southwardly along said west line of Old Westbury to the
southwest corner of said subdivision of Old Westbury, thence
eastwardly along the south line of Old Westbury to the
southeast corner of Lot 19 of Old Westbury, thence
northwardly along the east line of said Lot 19 to the
southwest corner of Lot 18 of Old Westbury, thence eastwardly
along the south line of Old Westbury and its prolongation
eastwardly to the center line of Laclede Station Road, thence
Southwardly along the center line of Laclede Station Road to
the center line of U. S. Highway 66, thence westwardly along
the center line of U. S. Highway 66 to the point of
beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 29, 1954
