AN ORDINANCE prescribing the letting of contracts for
personal services by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director of the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with the approval of the
Board of Trustees, shall have the sole power to obligate the
District on any contract for personal services for other than
regular or full time employees of the District, whether of
definite or indefinite duration, and of whatever nature. The term
"personal services" as used in this Ordinance shall mean services
to be performed or furnished by the specific individual,
individuals, group of individuals or corporation named in the
contract.
Section Two. The Executive Director shall prescribe
the duties, wages or salary, duration of employment or other terms
of any such contract for personal services, within his discretion,
subject however, to the terms of the Plan or other applicable
Ordinance of this District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 2, 1955
