AN ORDINANCE to establish a subdistrict in the River
Des Peres Watershed, to be known as Subdistrict Number Four of the
River Des Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District (North Affton).
WHEREAS, residents of the District have filed with the
Board a petition seeking the establishment of a subdistrict, and
it appears to the Board that the establishment of such a
subdistrict is necessary in order to furnish proper and adequate
sewer service and to protect the public health, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby established a subdistrict
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to be known as
Subdistrict Number Four of the River Des Peres Watershed of the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict Number Four
of the River Des Peres Watershed shall be as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Northwestern line
of Gravois Road with the Northeastern line of Lakewood Avenue
as shown on the record plat of Forest Heights, a subdivision,
as recorded in Plat Book 7 at Page 81 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence Southwestwardly along said Northwestern line
of Gravois Road to its intersection with the Eastern line of
Gravois City Limits Park, a subdivision, according to the

record plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 27 at Page 23 of
the St. Louis County Records; thence
Southwardly along said Eastern line to its intersection with the
Southern line of said subdivision; thence Westwardly along
said Southern line to the Southwestern corner of Lot 12 in
Block 5 of said subdivision; thence Westwardly along a direct
line to the Northeast corner of Lot 1 in Block 3 of Gravois-
Weber Park, a subdivision, according to the record plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 23 at Page 32 of the St.
Louis County Records, which Northeast corner of Lot 1 is a
point on the Northern corporate line of the Affton Sewer
District of St. Louis County, Missouri; thence in a general
Northwestwardly direction following along said Northern
corporate line to a point in the Eastern line of McKenzie
Road, which point is the intersection of said Eastern line
with a line parallel to, and distant 1350 feet Northwardly
(measured at right angles) from, the center line of Weber
Road; thence Westwardly along said parallel line to a point
approximately 426 feet east of the Eastern line of New
Hampshire Avenue; thence Northwardly along a line
approximately 426 feet east of and parallel to the Eastern
line of New Hampshire Avenue to its intersection with the
south line of Block 59 of the McKenzie Tract; thence
Westwardly along said south line of Block 59 to its
intersection with the Eastern line of New Hampshire Avenue;

thence Northwardly along said Eastern line of New Hampshire
Avenue to its intersection with the Northern line of Heege
Road; thence Eastwardly along said Northern line of Heege
Road to its intersection with the direct Southwardly
prolongation of the Western line of Ashwell Place, a
subdivision, according to the record plat thereof as recorded
in Plat Book 38 at Page 84 of the St. Louis County Records;
thence Northwardly along said prolongation and Western line
to the Northwest corner of said Ashwell Place; thence
Eastwardly along the Northern line and the direct Eastwardly
prolongation of said Northern line of said Ashwell Place to
its intersection with the Eastern line of McKenzie Road;
thence Northwardly along the Eastern line of McKenzie Road, a
distance of approximately 800 feet, to a point which is the
intersection of said Eastern line of McKenzie Road with the
direct Westwardly prolongation of the Southern line of Block
No. 39 of Lakewood, a subdivision according to the record
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book No. 6 at Pages 24 and
25 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Eastwardly along
said prolongation of the Southern line of said Block No. 39,
a distance of approximately 2580 feet, to its intersection
with the Western line of Harlan Street; thence Northwardly
along the western line of Harlem Street to its intersection
with the Westwardly prolongation of the Northerly line of Lot
No. 11 in Block 38 of said Lakewood; thence in a

Northeastwardly direction a distance of approximately 900
feet to the Northwesterly corner of Block No. 26 of said
Lakewood; thence eastwardly along the northern line of Blocks
26 and 21 of said Lakewood and said northern line extended to
its intersection with the center line of River Des Peres
Drive; thence southeastwardly along said center line a
distance of approximately 1750 feet, to its intersection with
the northeastwardly prolongation of the northwestern line of
the New St. Marcus Cemetery, according to the record plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book No. 23 at Page 15, in the
St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said
prolongation to the northernmost corner of the New St. Marcus
Cemetery; thence in a southerly direction across said New St.
Marcus Cemetery, a distance of approximately 2600 feet, to
the easternmost corner of Lot No. 11 of Ludewig's Subdivision
of the Brannon tract; thence southeastwardly along the
northeastern line of Lot 13 of said Ludewig's Subdivision to
its intersection with the Northwestern line of Gravois Road;
thence Southwestwardly along said Northwestern line of
Gravois Road to its intersection with the Northeastern line
of Lakewood Avenue, being the point of beginning.
