O R D I N A N C E NO. 24
ORDINANCE NO. 10, adopted August 26, 1954, to establish
Subdistrict Number One of the River Des Peres Watershed is hereby
repealed and the following Ordinance relating to the same subject
is adopted in lieu thereof:
AN ORDINANCE to establish a subdistrict in the Deer
Creek branch of the River Des Peres Watershed, to be known as
Subdistrict Number One of the River Des Peres Watershed of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. (Creve Coeur-Frontenac
area).
WHEREAS, residents of the District have filed with the
Board a petition seeking the establishment of a subdistrict, and
it appears to the Board that the establishment of such a
subdistrict is necessary in order to furnish proper and adequate
sewer service and to protect the public health,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby established a subdistrict
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to be known as
Subdistrict Number One of the River Des Peres Watershed of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict Number One
of the River Des Peres Watershed shall be as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northern limits of the City of

Creve Coeur where said limits would be intersected by the
northerly prolongation of the eastern line of Lot Two of
Thomas Subdivision; said point being 200 feet more or less
north of the north line of Olive Street Road, and 700 feet
more or less west of the west line of Warson Road; thence
southwardly along said prolongation of the eastern line of
Lot Two to a point on the south line of Olive Street Road;
which point is also a point on the northern boundary of the
Ladue-Deer Creek Sanitary Sewer District; thence in a
westwardly direction along the north line of Lots Two and
Three of Thomas Subdivision to the west line of said Lot
Three; thence south along said west line of Lot Three, a
distance of 313.84 feet to a point; thence westwardly in a
straight line to a point on the east line of Lindbergh
Boulevard, which is 313.61 feet south of the intersection of
the north line of Lot Four of Thomas Subdivision and the said
east line of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence southwardly along
said east line of Lindbergh Boulevard to its intersection
with the north line of Ladue Road; thence eastwardly along
said north line of Ladue Road to its intersection with a
point on the western boundary of the Ladue-Deer Creek
Sanitary Sewer District; thence southwardly, southwestwardly,
and southwardly following said west line to the north line of
Ingleside Drive Subdivision produced eastwardly; thence
westwardly along said eastwardly prolongation and the north

line of said Subdivision and said north line produced
westwardly to the center line of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence
southwardly along the said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard
to its intersection with the north line of the Missouri
Pacific Railroad right-of-way; thence eastwardly along said
north line of the said right-of-way to its intersection with
the west boundary of the Ladue-Deer Creek Sanitary Sewer
District; thence southwardly along the said west boundary
line to the south line of said Missouri Pacific Railroad
right-of-way; thence westwardly along said south line of said
right-of-way to its intersection with the east line of the
property now or formerly of Mary G. Morgan; thence
southwardly along said east line of the property of Mary G.
Morgan, a distance of 226.95 feet to a point; thence
westwardly along a line perpendicular to Lindbergh Boulevard
to the center line of said Lindbergh Boulevard; thence
southwardly along said center line of Lindbergh Boulevard to
its intersection with the centerline of Clayton Road; thence
westwardly along said centerline of Clayton Road, a distance
of approximately 1,200 feet, to its intersection with the
northwardly prolongation of the west line of property now or
formerly of Doctor's Medical Foundation; thence southwardly
along said west line produced and said west line of said
property to its intersection with the north line of said
property; thence westwardly along said north line of said

property to its intersection with the westernmost line of
said property; thence southwardly along said west line of
said property to its intersection with the north line of Lot
Nine of the Resubdivision of Lot Five of Ennis Estate
Subdivision, which intersection is a point approximately
1,975 feet south of the south line of Clayton Road; thence
westwardly along said north line of Lot Nine and continuing
along the north line of Lot Eight of said Resubdivision, a
distance of 300 feet to a point; thence northwestwardly in a
straight line to a point on the south line of Lot Three of
said Ennis Estate Subdivision, which point is 500 feet east
of the centerline of Geyer Road measured along said south
line; thence westwardly along said south line of Lot Three
and said south line extended to its intersection with the
center line of Geyer Road; thence northwardly along said
center line of Geyer Road to a point 750 feet south of the
south line of Clayton Road; thence westwardly along a line
parallel to and 750 feet south of said south line of Clayton
Road to the east line of Block One of Clayton Country Club,
thence northwardly along said east line of Clayton Country
Club to the northeast corner of Lot Six of said Block One;
thence westwardly along said north line of Lot Six and said
line extended westwardly to its intersection with the
centerline of Bridle Lane; thence northwardly along said
center line to its intersection with the north line of Lot

Six, Block Two of said Clayton Country Club produced
eastwardly; thence westwardly along said north line produced
and said north line of Lot Six to its intersection with the
east line of Devondale Subdivision, which intersection is a
point 275 feet more or less south of the south line of
Clayton Road; thence north along said east line of said
Devondale Subdivision, and said east line produced to the
centerline of Clayton Road; thence westwardly along the
center line of Clayton Road to the east line of Bopp Road
produced northerly; thence northwardly along said produced
east line of Bopp Road to the north line of Clayton Road;
thence westwardly along the north line of Clayton Road to a
point which is at the intersection of the north line of
Clayton Road with the east line of the Claycrest Subdivision;
thence northwardly along the east line of Claycrest
Subdivision 200 feet more or less to a point on said east
line which is also a point on the western boundary line of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence in a
general northerly direction following the west line of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to a point which is at
the intersection of said west line with the north line of
said Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, said point being
200 feet more or less north of the north line of Olive Street
Road; thence eastwardly along the north line of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District where it is also the

north city limits of the City of Creve Coeur to an angle
point in the north boundary line of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District located 200 feet west of the west line
of Lindbergh Boulevard, said point being also a point on the
northern city limits of the City of Creve Coeur; thence
eastwardly along the northern city limits of the City of
Creve Coeur to the point of beginning.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 20, 1955.
