AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract for the construction
of sanitary sewers in the Southeast Vinita Park Special Benefit
District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director for the construction of sanitary sewers in the
Southeast Vinita Park Special Benefit District pursuant to bids
received and opened on the twelfth day of January, 1956, and
signed by the Contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District on the 25th day of
January, 1956, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the
confirmation of a contract for sewer construction, and the sewers
to be constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
