HomeMy Public PortalAbout00048REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 86 O R D I N A N C E NO. 48 AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance Number 12 fixing the compensation of the Director of Finance, Ordinance Number 13 fixing the compensation of two Engineers, Ordinance Number 14 fixing the compensation of the Secretary-Treasurer, and Ordinance Number 31 fixing the compensation of the Executive Director, and enacting a new Ordinance in lieu thereof relating to the compensation of the Director of Finance, the Secretary-Treasurer, the Executive Director, and in addition fixing the compensation of the Chief Design Engineer and of the Acting Chief of Maintenance, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance Number 12 fixing the salary of the Director of Finance is hereby repealed. Section Two. Ordinance No. 13 fixing the salaries of two Engineers is hereby repealed. Section Three. Ordinance No. 14 fixing the salary of the Secretary-Treasurer is hereby repealed. Section Four. Ordinance Number 31 fixing the salary of the Executive Director is hereby repealed. Section Five. Effective February 1, 1956, the salary of the Director of Finance shall be at the rate of $9,100.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly installments. Section Six. Effective February 1, 1956, the salary of the Secretary-Treasurer shall be at the rate of $9,000.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly installments. Section Seven. Effective January 1, 1956, the salary of the Executive Director shall be at the rate of $13,000.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly installments. Section Eight. Effective February 1, 1956, the salary of the Chief Design Engineer shall be at the rate of $9,500.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly installments. Section Nine. Effective February 1, 1956, the salary of the Acting Chief of Maintenance shall be at the rate of $10,000.00 per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly installments. Section Ten. There being in effect no comprehensive compensation plan in which is included the salaries of the above- named officers and the immediate need for the fixing of such salaries creates an emergency with the means of the Plan and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 30, 1956.
