AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation of Ten Thousand
($10,000.00) Dollars to the General Maintenance Account, the
purpose of making emergency sewer repairs within the District
which sum is appropriated from the unappropriated surplus of the
District, with an emergency clause.
WHEREAS, there is a need for emergency sewer repairs within
the District, and
WHEREAS, there is now no fund available to make such emer-
gency repairs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby appropriated and set apart out
of the unappropriated surplus of the District the sum of Ten
Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars to the General Maintenance Account
#1061-200 of the District for the purpose of emergency repairs to
sewers within the District.
Section Two. The immediate necessity of making emergency
repairs to sewers within the District constitutes an emergency
within the meaning of the Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 13, 1956.
