AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation of Fifteen
Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars from the unappropriated surplus of
the District to the Executive Director's Office account #1030-200
for the purpose of controlling, correcting, and abating sewage
odors, nuisances and hazards to the public health and welfare
within the District.
WHEREAS, there is a need for controlling, correcting
and abating sewage odors, nuisances, and hazards to the public
health and welfare within the District; and
WHEREAS there is now no fund available for controlling,
correcting and abating sewage odors, nuisances and hazards to the
public health and welfare within the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby appropriated and set
apart out of the unappropriated surplus of the District the sum of
Fifteen Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars to the Executive Director's
Office account No. 1030-200 of the District for the purpose of
controlling, correcting and abating of sewage odors, nuisances and
hazards to the public health and welfare within the District.
Section Two. This ordinance being an appropriation
ordinance it shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 5, 1956.
