AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the W. A. Blue
Construction Company for the construction of a temporary sanitary
sewer connection of the Carsonville area to the City of Berkeley
Primary Treatment Plant, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract with the W. A. Blue
Construction Company let by the Executive Director for the
construction of a temporary sanitary sewer connection of the
Carsonville area to the City of Berkeley Primary Treatment plant
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of May, 1956,
and signed by the Contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction, and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 14, 1956.
