AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation in the sum of
Twenty-Five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars out of unappropriated
general revenue funds for the purpose of purchasing certain
personal property;
WHEREAS, the District has heretofore entered into
certain lease and purchase agreements with various sewer districts
and municipalities covering property used and useful in the
operation, maintenance and repair of sewers; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to consummate the purchase of
such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby appropriated out of the
unappropriated surplus of the general revenue of the District the
sum of Twenty-five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars to be expended in
completing the purchase of personal property covered by contracts
between the District and the various sewer districts and
municipalities within the boundaries of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 4, 1956.
