AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
Schrader Development and Supply Company, a Missouri corporation,
and sole owner of said area; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is in a watershed of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of its
sanitary sewage into sewers leading to the City of St. Ann Sewage
Disposal plant, which has adequate capacity for treatment of such
additional sewage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South line of U.S. Survey 1203,
said point being also the Northeast corner of U. S. Survey
890 and the Northwest corner of Section 24, thence South 83
degrees 27-1/3 minutes East 358.28 feet along the dividing
line between U.S. Survey 1203 and Section 24 to a point,
thence South 7 degrees West 897.52 feet to a point, thence
North 83 degrees West 270.0 feet to a point, thence North 69
degrees 35 minutes West 339.26 feet to a point, thence North
7 degrees East 817.50 feet to a point in said South Line of
in U.S. Survey 1203, thence South 82 degrees 37-2/3 minutes
East 241.74 feet along the dividing line between U.S. Survey
1203 and U.S. Survey 890 to the point of beginning,
containing 12.041 acres.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the sole owner of the area to be served, which area
contains the entire portion of a watershed, the balance of which
lies within the District.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 1956.
