O R D I N A N C E NO. 81
AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County which
could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage facilities
of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer Dis-
trict has been received from the majority of the owners of land in
said area who are also the owners of more than one-half of the
land area therein, praying for annexation of said area by The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and
WHEREAS, this area of land lies within the Gravois Creek
watershed and should, therefore, be included in The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District are hereby extended to include the following area
of land described as follows:
Beginning at a point of intersection of the centerline of
Robyn Avenue and Lindbergh Boulevard, said point also
being on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District; thence southwardly and westwardly
along the centerline of Robyn Avenue to its
intersection with the prolongation southeastwardly of

the northeast line of a lot transferred by deed
recorded on page 409 book 3286 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation
and said line to its intersection with the southeast
line of Lot 59 of Sunset Terrace Subdivision, as
recorded on page 46 and page 47 of plat book 16 of the
St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along
said southeast line of said Lot 59 to the southernmost
corner of said Lot 59; thence northwestwardly along the
southwest line of said Lot 59 to the southeast line of
Lincoln Drive; thence northwestwardly across Lincoln
Drive to the southernmost corner of Lot 54 of said
Sunset Terrace Subdivision; thence northwestwardly
along the southwest line of said Lot 54 and said line
produced to its intersection with the centerline of
Roosevelt Drive; thence eastwardly along the centerline
of Roosevelt Drive to its intersection with the
centerline of Matthews Lane; thence northwestwardly
along the centerline of Matthews Lane to its
intersection with the prolongation southwardly of the
west line of Lot 5 of Ronnie's Country Club Acres, as
recorded on page 1 of plat book 57 of the St. Louis
County Records; thence northwardly along said
prolongation and along said west line of Lot 5 to the
northwest corner of said Lot 5; thence eastwardly along

the northern line of said Lot 5 and its prolongation to
its intersection with the centerline of Lindbergh
Boulevard, this point also falling on the boundary of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence
southeastwardly along the centerline of Lindbergh
Boulevard, said centerline being also the boundary of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to the point
of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
of the above described area of land was signed by a majority of
the owners in said area who are also the owners of more than one-
half the land area therein.
Section Three. The above described area of land lies
within the Gravois Creek Watershed and therefore should be served
by the drainage facilities of this District.
