O R D I N A N C E NO. 114
AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the Henry B.
Braun, Jr. Excavating Company for the construction of approximate-
ly two thousand one hundred and seventy lineal feet of pipe
sewers, six (6) to eight (8) inches in diameter, and
appurtenances, as required by the plans and specifications. Said
sewers to be constructed within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District in an unincorporated area in the southern part of St.
Louis County, Missouri, between Jefferson Barracks and the
intersection of Telegraph Road and Kingston Drive, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to the Henry B. Braun, Jr. Excavating Company
for the construction of approximately two thousand one Hundred and
seventy (2170) lineal feet of pipe sewers, six (6) to eight (8)
inches in diameter, and appurtenances, as required by the plans
and specifications. Said sewers to be constructed within The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in an unincorporated area in
the southern part of St. Louis County, Missouri, between Jefferson
Barracks and the intersection of Telegraph Road and Kingston Drive
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th day of January,
1957 and signed by the contractor and by the Executive Director
and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District on the 24th
day of January, 1957 in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be con-
structed being necessary for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
