AN ORDINANCE determining the amount of taxes which
shall be levied, assessed and collected in the year 1957 on all of
the taxable tangible property in the Maline Creek Trunk
Subdistrict, Subdistrict No. 2 of the River des Peres Watershed
(Vinita Park Area), Subdistrict No. 4 of the River des Peres
Watershed (North Affton Area), and Subdistrict No. 1 of the River
des Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac), respectively, of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, each such Subdistrict being
in St. Louis County, Missouri;
WHEREAS, after notice of hearing and hearing as
provided in the Plan, and after due consideration of all of the
statements made and facts adduced at such hearing, the Board has
found that it will be necessary in the calendar year 1957 to levy
and assess taxes in each of the aforesaid Subdistricts as follows:
Maline Creek Trunk Subdistrict - One Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($150,000.00) which sum will be produced by the rate
of twenty cents (204) per one hundred dollars of assessed
valuation.
Subdistrict No. 2 of the River des Peres Watershed (Vinita
Park Area) - Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($12,500.00) which sum will be produced by the rate of forty
cents (404) per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation;
Subdistrict No. 4 of the River des Peres Watershed (North
Affton Area) - Seventeen Thousand One Hundred Twenty-five
Dollars ($17,125.00) which sum will be produced by the rate

of thirty-five cents (354) per one hundred dollars of
assessed valuation; Subdistrict No. 1 of the River des Peres
Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac) - Seventy Five Thousand
Dollars ($75,000.00) which sum will be produced by the rate
of forty cents (404) per one hundred dollars of assessed
valuation; all for the purpose of paying interest and
principal of bonds issued or to be issued by the District for
each of such Sub-districts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The amount of taxes which shall be levied
on all taxable tangible property within that part of the corporate
limits of St. Louis County lying within the Maline Creek Trunk
Subdistrict as defined and delineated by District Ordinance No.
26, adopted June 26, 1955, for the year 1957 for the payment of
bond interest and principal on bonds of the Maline Creek Trunk
Subdistrict of the District shall be One Hundred Fifty Thousand
($150,000.00) Dollars, which sum will be produced by the rate of
twenty cents (204) per one hundred ($100.00) Dollars of assessed
value.
Section Two. The amount of taxes which shall be levied
on all taxable tangible property within that part of the corporate
limits of St. Louis County lying within Subdistrict No. 2 of the
River des Peres Watershed (Vinita Park Area) as defined and
delineated by District Ordinance No. 23, adopted June 20, 1955,

for the year 1957 for the payment of bond interest and principal
on bonds of Subdistrict No. 2 of the River des Peres Watershed
(Vinita Park Area) of the District shall be Twelve Thousand Five
Hundred ($12,500.00) Dollars, which sum will be produced by the
rate of forty cents (404) per one hundred ($100.00) Dollars of
assessed value.
Section Three. The amount of taxes which shall be
levied on all taxable tangible property within that part of the
corporate limits of St. Louis County lying within Subdistrict No.
4 of the River des Peres Watershed (North Affton Area) as defined
and delineated by District Ordinance No. 22, adopted June 20,
1955, for the year 1957 for the payment of bond interest and
principal on bonds of Subdistrict No. 4 of the River des Peres
Watershed (North Affton Area) of the District shall be Seventeen
Thousand One Hundred Twenty-five ($17,125.00) Dollars, which sum
will be produced by the rate of thirty-five cents (354) per one
hundred dollars ($100.00) Dollars of assessed value.
Section Four. The amount of taxes which shall be levied
on all taxable tangible property within that part of the corporate
limits of St. Louis County lying within Subdistrict No. 1 of the
River des Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac) as defined and
delineated by District Ordinance No. 24, adopted June 20, 1955,
for the year 1957 for the payment of bond interest and principal
on bonds of Subdistrict No. 1 of the River des Peres Watershed
(Creve Coeur-Frontenac) of the District shall be Seventy Five

Thousand ($75,000.00) Dollars, which sum will be produced by the
rate of forty cents (404) per one hundred ($100.00) Dollars of
assessed value.
Section Five. By reason of the requirements of the Plan
that the amount of taxes to be levied, assessed and collected in
that part of the District lying wholly within St. Louis County, be
certified to designated County officers on or before the fifteenth
day of May, and no funds will be available to the District for the
next fiscal year for the payment of interest and principal on
bonds of the District unless such certification be made, an
emergency exists and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its enactment.
