HomeMy Public PortalAbout00139 O R D I N A N C E NO. 139 AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation in the sum of Two Thousand Twenty Dollars ($2,020.00) out of the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund of the District to the Department of Finance, Personal Services Account No. 1-1040-100, and making an appropriation in the sum of Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Dollars ($8,980.00) out of the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund of the District to the Department of Finance, Other Operating Expenses Account No. 1-1040-200, for the purpose of hiring the necessary personnel and securing the necessary materials, supplies, postage and services to revise the billing to comply with the new sewer service charge rates of the District, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. There is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund of the District the sum of Two Thousand Twenty Dollars ($2,020.00) to the Department of Finance, Personal Services Account No. 1-1040-100, for the purpose of hiring the necessary personnel to revise the billing of the District to comply with the new sewer service charge rates of the District. Section Two. There is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund of the District the sum of Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Dollars ($8,980.00) to the Department of Finance, Other Operating Expenses Account No. 1-1040-200, for the purpose of securing the necessary materials, supplies, postage and services to revise the billing of the District to comply with the new sewer service charge rates of the District. Section Three. This being an appropriation ordinance, it shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 24, 1957.
