AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropol-
itan St. Louis Sewer District to include certain areas of St.
Louis County which can be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District, such areas being Lots 3
through 14 of Block 1 of West Forest View Subdivision, and Lots 17
through 21 of Lackland Park Subdivision.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has received petitions
praying for the annexation of areas comprising Lots 3 through 14
of Block 1 of West Forest View Subdivision, and Lots 17 through 21
of Lackland Park Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, such petition: was signed by a majority of the
owners of land in each of said areas, who are also the owners of
more than one-half of the land in each of said areas; and
WHEREAS, because such areas lie within the University
City Branch of the River des Peres Watershed and the sanitary
sewage of each of such areas ca.n flow by gravity into sewers
leading to the River des Peres sewer of the District, such areas
can be efficiently served by the facilities of the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Board declares that the corporate
boundaries of the District are hereby extended so as to include
the area included in all of Lots 3 through 14 of Block 1 of West
Forest View Subdivision more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of

the centerlines of Link Road, 50' wide and Maple
Avenue, 50' wide as shown on the Plat of West Forest
View, a Subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri,
according to the plat thereof as recorded in Book 14 on
Page 76 in the St. Louis County Recorder of Deeds
Office, said point also falling on the boundary line of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence
northwestwardly along the centerline of said Link Road
to its intersection with the southwestward prolongation
of the northernmost line of Lot 14 of Block 1 of said
West Forest View Subdivision; thence northeastwardly
along said prolongation and along said north line of
said Lot 14 and.along the north line of Lot 13 of said
Block 1 to the northeast corner of said Lot 13; thence
northwardly along the west line of Lot 3 of said Block
1 and said line projected to its intersection with the
centerline of Lackland Avenue, 50' wide; thence
northeastwardly along said centerline of said Lackland
Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of
Forest Avenue 50' wide, said intersection also falling
on the boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District; thence southwardly along the said
centerline of said Forest Avenue to its intersection
with the centerline of said Maple Avenue; thence
southwestwardly along the centerline of said Maple

Avenue to the point of beginning, and Lots 17 through
21 of Lackland Park Subdivision more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection
of the centerline of Page Avenue (60 feet wide) as
shown on the Plat of Lackland Park Subdivision as
recorded in Plat Book 17, Page 8 or the St. Louis
County Records and the centerline of Link Road (60 feet
wide); thence westwardly along said centerline of said
Page Avenue to its intersection with the southward
prolongation of the west lines of Lots 17 through 21 of
said Lackland Park Subdivision; thence northwardly
along said prolongation and along said west lines of
said Lots 17 through 21 to the northwest corner of said
Lot 21; thence eastwardly along the north line of said
Lot 21 and said north line produced to its intersection
with the centerline of said Link Road; thence
southwardly along said centerline to the point of
beginning.
Section Two. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary State.
