AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Fred M. Luth
and Sons, Inc., for the construction of main trunk and interceptor
sanitary sewers in Subdistrict Number Four of the River des Peres
Watershed (North Affton) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., for the con-
struction of main trunk and interceptor sanitary sewers in
Subdistrict Number Four of the River des Peres Watershed (North
Affton) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 28th day of August, 1957, and
signed by the Contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District on the 6th day of
September, 1957, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed,
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be con-
structed being necessary for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1957.
