AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the G. L.
Tarlton Contracting Co., of St. Louis, Missouri for the
construction of Section C Sanitary Trunk Sewers in the Maline
Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District and containing an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract with the G. L. Tarlton
Contracting Co., of St. Louis, Missouri, let by the Executive
Director for the construction of sanitary sewers in the Maline
Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District pursuant to bids received and opened on the 2nd day of
October, 1957, and signed by the Contractor and by the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction, and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 15, 1957.
