AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the Richard E.
Harder Contracting Company for the construction of approximately
one hundred seventy (170) lineal feet of sanitary sewers, of pipe
eight (8) inches in diameter together with all appurtenances and
work required by the plans and specifications within Kenneth
Avenue Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 27, located in the River
des Peres Watershed in the City of Olivette in a portion of
Kenneth Avenue.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to the Richard E. Harder Contracting Company
for the construction of approximately one hundred seventy (170)
lineal feet of sanitary sewers, of pipe eight (8) inches in
diameter together with all appurtenances and work required by the
plans and specifications within Kenneth Avenue Special Benefit
Subdistrict No. 27, located in the River des Peres Watershed in
the City of Olivette in a portion of Kenneth Avenue within the
boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 6th day of November, 1957 and
signed by the contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District on the 8th day of
November, 1957, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 12, 1957.
