AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the Frazier
Davis Construction Company for the repair and reconstruction of
the Third Street sewer at Third and Elm Street, in the City of St.
Louis, and containing an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to the Frazier Davis Construction Company for
the repair and reconstruction of the Third Street sewer at Third
and Elm Streets, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 29th day of November, 1957, and
signed by the Contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District on the 5th day of
December, 1957 in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer repair and reconstruction and the repair
and reconstruction of sewer being necessary for the protection of
the public health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of
the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 1957.
