AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the Nash
Contracting Company for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 10 (Springdale Lake Sites
Subdivision), with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 10 (Springdale La!:e Sites
Subdivision) of THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 7th day of January,
1958 and signed by the contractor and by the Executive Director
and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in the
following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 27, 1958.
