AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund to be known as the
"Real Property Purchase Fund", with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. There is hereby created a fund to be known
as the "Real Property Purchase Fund." Any moneys in said fund may
be used for the purchase or improvement of real property, or for
the purchase of and interests in real property, necessary or
useful and proper for carrying out the corporate purposes of the
District.
Section Two. Moneys in such fund may be established and
maintained from any and all of the following sources:
(a) Appropriations from the general funds of the District
when available.
(b) The proceeds of the sale of real property or real
property rights.
(c) Income earned by the deposit or investment at interest of
such fund or any part thereof.
(d) Any other source permitted by law.
Section Three. The creation of this fund being pre-
requisite to the adoption of a complete financial plan for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 1958 constitutes an emergency within
the meaning of the Plan, and this ordinance shall take effect upon
its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1958.
