AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with the Crow
Contracting Corporation for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 39 (North & South Road Trunk) and
in Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 40 (North & South Road and
Jefferson Avenue), with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to the Crow Contracting Corporation, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 39 (North & South Road Trunk)
and in Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 40 (North & South Road and
Jefferson Avenue) of THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th day of June, 1958
and signed by the contractor and by the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in the following
form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1958.
