AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
Owner of each and every parcel of property of said area; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is partially in a
watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can
drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southeast corner of Lot 5
in Dorclin Acres No. 3 Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along
the southerly line of said Lot 5 and its prolongation to the
centerline of Dorclin Lane; thence northwardly and northwestwardly
along the centerline of Dorclin Lane to its intersection with the
southerly prolongation of the west line of Lot 4 of Jonas Ochs
Home Tract; thence northwardly along the said prolongation and
continuing northwardly along the west line of Lot 4 of said Jonas
Ochs Home Tract to the northwest corner of said Lot 4 which lies
in the present south boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; thence eastwardly along the north line of Lot 4 of said
Jonas Ochs Home Tract, being also the south boundary of
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to the west line of Concord
Square Subdivision, said line being the present west boundary line
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence southwardly
along the west line of Concord Square Subdivision, being also the
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, 442.20 feet
to a point in the southwest corner of Lot 41 in said Concord
Square Subdivision; thence eastwardly 147 feet along the south
line of said Lot 41 in Concord Square Subdivision to a point in
the northerly prolongation of the west line of Concord Square
Addition Subdivision, said west line of Concord Square Addition
being also the present west boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District; thence southwardly along said west line of Concord
Square Addition and its prolongation to the southeast corner of
Lot 7 in Dorclin Acres No. 3 Subdivision; thence westwardly 100
feet along the south line of said Lot 7 to the northwardly
prolongation of the east line of Lots 4, 5, and 6 in Dorclin Acres
No. 3 Subdivision; thence southwardly along the east line of
Dorclin Acres No. 3 to the southeast corner of Lot 5 of Dorclin
Acres No. 3, the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by the owner of each and every parcel of property of
the area to be served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 2, 1958.
