AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with W. A. Blue
Construction Company for the construction of sanitary trunk sewers
in Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 46 (Central Addition Trunk),
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to W. A. Blue Construction Company, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Special Benefit Subdistrict No. 46 (Central Addition Trunk) of
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 27th day of August, 1958 and formally
executed on the 29th day of August, 1958 by said contractor and by
the Executive Assistant, duly acting for the Executive Director,
and by the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in the
following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the Public
Health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 2, 1958.
