AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT to include an area of St. Louis
County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage
facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the Owners of land in said area, who are also Owners
of more than one-half of the land area therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is partially in a
watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can
drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Oak
Avenue and the centerline of Midview Avenue, in St. Louis County,
Missouri, which is a point on the existing Boundary Line of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence westwardly along the
said centerline of Oak Avenue to its intersection with the
northwardly prolongation of the west line of Lot 8, Block 4,
Pattonville Subdivision, a subdivision of St. Louis County,
Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 17,
page 78 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along
said northwardly prolongation and along the west line of Lots 8
through 1, inclusive, of said Block 4, and along the southward
prolongation of the said west line of Lot 1, to its intersection
with the centerline of Prospect Avenue; thence eastwardly along
said centerline of Prospect Avenue, which is also a part of the
existing Boundary Line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, to its intersection with the centerline of Midview
Avenue; thence northwardly along said centerline of Midview
Avenue, which is also a part of the existing Boundary Line of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by the majority of the owners of land in said area,
who are also owners of more than one-half of the land area
therein.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The Metro-
politan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 2, 1958.
