AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metro-
politan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis
County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage
facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the Owners of land in said area, who are also Owners
of more than one-half of the land area therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is partially in a
watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can
drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the. area des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the east-
wardly prolongation of the south line of St. Ann Hills No. 6, a
subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 72, page 3 of the St. Louis County
Records, with the centerline of Adie Road, which is also a point
on the existing Boundary Line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; thence westwardly along the said south line of St. Ann
Hills No. 6 to the southwesternmost corner of said subdivision;
thence northwardly along the west line of said subdivision to the
northwest corner of Lot 15 of said subdivision, which is a point
on the existing Boundary Line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 15
and its eastwardly extension to the centerline of said Adie Road,
which north line and its eastward extension is also part of the
existing Boundary Line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; thence southwardly along the said centerline of Adie
Road to the poi.:t of beginning, said centerline also being part
of the existing Boundary Line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by the majority of the owners of land in said area,
who are also owners of more than one-half of the land area
therein.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The Metro-
politan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 2, 1958.
