AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Fred M. Luth &
Sons, Inc., of St. Louis, Missouri for the construction of
subtrunk sanitary sewers in Subdistrict Number One of the River
des Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
(Creve Coeur-Frontenac area) and containing an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons,
Inc., of St. Louis, Missouri, as the lowest responsible bidder,
let by the Executive Director for the construction of subtrunk
sanitary sewers in Subdistrict Number One of the River des Peres
Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (Creve
Coeur-Frontenac area) pursuant to bids received and opened on the
28th day of October, 1958, and signed by the Contractor and by the
Executive Director and the Secretary Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District on the 31st day of October,
1958 in the following form:
Ord. No. 248
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction, and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
