AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Victory
Construction Company of Brentwood, Missouri, for the construction
of sanitary sewer mains J1 and J2 in Subdistrict No. Four of the
River des Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District (North Affton) and containing an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract with Victory Construction
Company, of Brentwood, Missouri, as the lowest responsible bidder,
let by the Executive Director for the construction of sanitary
sewer mains J1 and J2 in Subdistrict No. Four of the River des
Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
(North Affton) pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th
day of November, 1958 and signed by the Contractor and by the
Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District on the 21st day of November,
1958 in the following form:
Ord. No. 251
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction, and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the public health, constitutes an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall
be and become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 4, 1958.
